The Challenge
Designing the CEVEN app presented several challenges. Integrating augmented reality, facilitating tree-user interactions, creating a seamless donation process, developing an effective reporting feature, and showcasing immersive AR artworks all required a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of user needs and preferences.
Solution
The solution for the CEVEN app emerged through a collaborative and innovative hackathon process. Our team, consisting of UX/UI designers, developers, and environmental enthusiasts, conducted extensive research on tree care, public park management, and user preferences. The concept was inspired by the idea of empowering trees and engaging users in park maintenance.

Approach
The creation of the CEVEN app followed a systematic approach, ensuring a comprehensive and well-executed solution. We conducted in-depth research on tree care, public park management, and user behaviors. This research informed our understanding of user needs and guided the feature selection process. We then assembled a multidisciplinary team of UX/UI designers, developers, and environmental experts to collaborate on ideation and solution design.

Design decisions
We conducted user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand user preferences, expectations, and pain points. This research served as the foundation for our design decisions. By thinking of modern styles, environmental elements and simplicity first - we created the style that is displayed in this presentation.

We focused on creating a visually appealing and intuitive interface, considering factors such as information hierarchy, visual storytelling, and seamless user flows.
Result
The final design was shaped through user feedback and usability testing, ensuring a user-centric approach. The CEVEN app successfully integrates augmented reality and tracking technologies, empowering users to interact with trees, participate in park maintenance, and enjoy immersive AR artworks. This innovative solution fosters community involvement and enhances the experience of public spaces, making it a pioneering tool for environmental engagement.
